AJ Tabangay was on an UberPool ride when his long time college crush hopped in.。

Naturally, he freaked out and live-tweeted the whole event.。

"I can't breathe guys," says AJ before asking the Twittersphere what he should say to make small talk. 。

"Upon arriving [at] his pick-up point, I [saw] him from afar and my heart started pumping intensely, I couldn't believe it," AJ, who is based in the Philippines, told。 Mashable. 。

"When he entered, I pretended that it was nothing...[but I went on] a Twitter spree and constantly messaged my friends to devise a plan so I could converse with him. I ended up just feeling happy [and] giddy that I got to ride with him." 。

AJ's story, which happened last year, picked up some social traction, but has now become truly immortalised in an Uber ad.。

, which translates to romantic excitement in Filipino -- has since been viewed 2.4 million times, and attracted a stream of giddy comments.。

"It happened to me couple of weeks ago...it's the driver that happens to be my long time crush, that [was the] very first time we had a conversation," said one comment on Facebook. 。

"From now on, I will use UberPool. No more UberX for me," another netizen added. 。

"Uber is the new Tinder," one said.。AJ's story is part of a campaign in which riders are asked to share stories about the trips they take on Uber.。"AJ's [story] was fresh yet totally relatable... and we felt it provided a glimpse into the different personalities you might encounter while on an UberPool ride," an Uber spokesperson told。
