The show focuses on an adult Raven Baxter (Symone) and her best friend Chelsea (Anneliese van der Pol, reprising her role), now living together as divorced single mothers with their kids (another working title: "Fuller House 3").
One of Raven's kids (played by Black-ish's Issac Brown and Being Mary Jane's Navia Robinson) starts having visions of the future and shenanigans ensue.
In 2015, Symoné reunited her cast mates on The View, including her TV brother Cory (Kyle Massey) and Raven and Chelsea's other best friend, Eddie (Orlando Brown). Brown was arrested for drug possession in 2016 and distanced himself from Symoné and the show.
"There is only one Raven — and for over 25 years, she has blessed audiences around the world with the greatest gift of all — the pure, unadulterated joy of laugh-out-loud funny," said Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer at Disney Channels Worldwide, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "After being a part of over 20 different Disney projects, we are thrilled to be bringing Raven home to Disney Channel once again."
