Sean Hannity doesn't know when to stop.
The Fox News host went on a tear Friday after talk show host Jimmy Kimmel had skewered Melania Trump and her accent on his show Monday night. Hannity found this very offensive. That's when his Kimmel "take-down" started.
Hannity's sensitivity to Kimmel's unnecessary insult was fair to call out initially, but his point got lost quickly. The barrage of tweets about Kimmel's alleged lurid, perverted past marred any ground Hannity had won with his original statement against the mocking.

Several of the tweets included raunchy clips and references to Kimmel's TheMan Show, a Comedy Central show that ended in 2004.
Kimmel eventually took the Twitter bait on Friday and off it went.

The battle even made it to the airwaves, with each host throwing barbs at each other and defending their actions and words.

After a brief respite, Kimmel came out with an apology note Sunday, remorseful for unintentionally triggering this ridiculous feud and his initial foul move when he mocked the first lady on his show.
"I, too, will give my words more thought and recognize my role in inciting their hatefulness," Kimmel wrote.

But this did not end things. Nope. Instead, Hannity is using the apology to bring the whole back-and-forth to his show on Monday.
