TikTok is taking new steps in the music industry, announcing its first ever live music event.
With a lineup of big names including Cardi B, Niall Horan, Anitta, and Charlie Puth, the social media company's In the Mix festival will see a range of artists performing in Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona this December. Rising music stars like Isabel LaRosa, Kaliii, LU KALA, and Sam Barber are also on the bill, as an extension of TikTok’s emerging artist program, TikTok Elevate.
The event will also host activities inspired by the TikTok community and its most-loved trends, though the details of these haven't yet been revealed. The entirety of In the Mix will be streamed on TikTok LIVE.
"With In The Mix, our goal is to bring the For You feed to life for fans at the venue and on TikTok," says Paul Hourican, TikTok's global head of music partnerships and programming. He added that the company's vision is to "create a show that is reimagined for the TikTok era".

Charlie Puth, with 22.1 million followers on TikTok, said in a press statement, "I love the community we’ve built and am thrilled to be a part of TikTok In The Mix."
